Well,,, not exactly the day I
hoped for.. Car was really good during the race,,
made our way up to fifth and was
actually taking it easy trying to stay out of trouble.. Started having oil psi issues during yellow flag laps and
I assume at this point that the
oil pump pickup is cracked or broken
considering we had no issues
during green flag runs.. I started shutting the engine
off and coasting during breaking
on yellow flag laps to minimize
possible engine damage.. The second time I restarted the
engine by letting out the clutch in high gear
I hear a big bang and the
driveshaft just snaps!
That just aint suppose to
happen,,, but it did.. Just like that our day was

Had a good weekend with the
family at Salem Speedway.. Beautiful weather, big crowd for
the ARCA event. Qualified a 20.444 and started 7th, got
clipped in LR coming off of 2 and spun, traveling the
complete back stretch in reverse! Brought out the caution..
Restarted on the tail and rallied back to a 5th place
finish.. Congrats to Shawn Smith for the win..

Williams Racing will be competing
in three different series this season, The (FKSSN) Frank Kimmel
Street Nationals Series, the Salem Speedway's
Lucas Oil Great American Stocks and CRA Series Street
Salem Speedway will be considered our home track where we
will compete approximately 10 time throughout the racing season
in the Lucas Oil Great American Stock Division accumulating
points competing for a championship.
Salem Speedway holds two of
the biggest events we will be involved in!
Frank Kimmel has been working hard to
secure more race dates at some very popular tracks for FKSSN
a couple confirmed race dates, starting in April at
Rockingham NC in conjunction with the NASCAR Trucks, and then
again in July we will be racing in conjunction with NASCAR again
in a 100 lap FKSSN event at Iowa Speedway. Possible other events
to be announced!
The Polar Bear 150 held
at Rockingham Speedway January most likely continue itís
tradition. The Kimmel Street Stocks are gaining popularity in
big ways from the fans as well as competitors alike. Attendees
have been know to travel from all across the country to be part
of these races. The series is so much fun that even high profile
drivers have shown interest in being involved. Stand out NASCAR
driver Kurt Busch competed and finished 2nd behind Will Kimmel
in the running of the 2010 Polar Bear 150.
The CRA series is a very well established
organization that dose a very good job of promoting their events
and drivers. Great tracks like Winchester Speedway, Lucas Oil
Raceway, Anderson Speedway, Plymouth Speedway and Baer field
Speedway will make up about 15 races of our 2012 schedule.

Williams Precision Engines Tests E3 Spark Plugs
on Stacey David's TV Show Gearz
I have been
receiving tons of questions about E3 plugs recently,
most common being if the plug test we did on Stacey
David's TV show Gearz was real. Yes it was
real and very accurate.
that we used in the test was a common small block Chevy
street performance 383 engine producing approximately
The plugs that
we tested and compared to each other in our test were
both comparable heat rang plugs for a standard street
We simply made
three pulls testing a conventional plug recording the
data and then swapped to the E3 plugs and performed the
same three pull test.
The E3 plug
performed very well producing better HP in the upper
RPM, increased torque in the lower RPM and lower break
specific numbers indicating less fuel consumption.
Thatís all good
another common question, Yes I have been using and
testing E-3 plugs in my own personal racing engines, and I have been seeing very good results..
No E3 dose not
have a race plug available to buy yet, but they are
working on a program to produce racing plugs in the near
future, and when they do I think it will be a winner..

our sponsors, itís because of them we are able to race!
